4 Charged in Fatal NJ Block Party Shooting
TRENTON, N.J. (AP) -- Four people have been charged in the fatal shooting of a 13-year-old girl at a stop-the-violence block party in New Jersey's capital.
Police say the suspects arrested Wednesday are Keith Warren and Robert Humphrey, both 21; Warren's 18-year-old brother, Lamar, and a 17-year-old male. All are from Trenton.
Tamrah Leonard was slain June 7 in Trenton in what authorities believe was a gang-related shooting at a party hosted by a New Black Panther Party youth minister.
Authorities say at least 20 shots were fired from an automatic weapon into the crowd of about 100 people. Leonard was apparently an innocent bystander.
The suspects face charges of murder, attempted murder and weapons offenses. All are in custody and do not yet have lawyers.
