Rev. Sharpton to Deliver Eulogy at Aiyana Jones' Funeral
DETROIT (AP) — Civil rights leader Al Sharpton plans to deliver the eulogy at the funeral for a 7-year-old girl who was fatally shot during a police raid in Detroit.

A statement Wednesday from Sharpton's National Action Network said the family of Aiyana Stanley-Jones and their lawyer asked him to speak during Saturday's services at Second Ebenezer Church in Detroit.
The funeral was scheduled for 11 a.m. Visitation was set for Friday at Swanson Funeral Homes' Boulevard Chapel.
The girl's family on Tuesday announced two lawsuits claiming officers violated the girl's rights. Aiyana was shot in the neck early Sunday when police raided her home while searching for a 34-year-old murder suspect.
Contributions to help pay funeral costs may be made at Fifth Third Bank branches.
