Search on for Mississippi Black College Presidents
JACKSON, Miss. (AP) — The state College Board has hired search firms to find new presidents at Alcorn State University, Jackson State University and Mississippi University for Women.
The board this week chose Ayers & Associates Inc. of Arlington, Va., to search for new presidents at both Alcorn and JSU.
Atlanta-based Parker Executive Search won the job of finding a permanent president at MUW.
The board also voted to have Higher Education Commission Hank Bounds negotiate the final contract terms with search firms.
