Patrolman Craig Franklin donned a crude KKK-costume over his uniform, while partner Eric Wlodarsky snapped his photo with his camera-phone and sent it to fellow troopers. On Wednesday, both cops were canned.

Big Winner - Obama won big in the North Carolina primary Tuesday, and it was a razor-thin victory for Clinton in Indiana. Obama leads Clinton in total delegates, 1,745 to 1,608, according to The Associated Press.

James' Son - James Brown is Tami Rae Hynie's baby daddy. James Brown II was tested in April, and DNA results confirm that the soul singer is his father. Trustees handling Brown's estate have suggested Hynie was not legally married to Brown and that her boy is not his son. They were not mentioned in Brown's will.

Court Date - Lil' Wayne made an appearance in Arizona this week, but it wasn't for a concert. He was in court to answer to several drug charges stemming from an arrest in January. Did I Say That? - Edward Brooke says his personal life is just that – personal. The former U.S. Senator, declined to comment about whether he had an affair with TV personality Barbara Walters in the 1970s. Walters said in a TV interview that she and Brooks had a relationship that lasted several years. Brooks, the first Black senator to be elected since Reconstruction, was married at the time.

The Real Stars - Denzel Washington and his wife, Pauletta Pearson, are encouraging young people in his hometown of Mount Vernon, N.Y. to apply for an annual scholarship they award to college students. Washington said while actors, rappers and athletes get a lot of recognition, the real stars are scholars.

Hall of Fame - The New Jersey Hall of Fame doesn't exist yet. But guess who already has a place in it? Toni Morrison, that's who. She's among 15 residents of Jersey who've been inducted into the hall. The Hall of Fame exists only as a virtual entity now, but officials are raising money to build a permanent museum. All inductees must have lived in New Jersey for at least five years.

Ripped Off - Someone broke into Martha Reeve's childhood home and ripped her off to the tune of about a million dollars worth of recording equipment. Reeves is upset by the break-in, and wonders why no one called the police while the crime was going on. Reeves was part of the Motown group Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, whose hits include "Heat Wave," and "Dancing in the Street." She is now a member of the Detroit City Council.

Another Delay? - R&B's self-described Pied Piper may finally get his day in court. At least it looks that way now. But because it's R. Kelly, there is still a chance there will be another delay to a trial that already comes six years after he was first charged. Defense attorneys have filed a motion seeking to postpone the trial yet again. The judge is expected to rule on that delay Friday -- the same day the case is supposed to begin. Add Author to His Accomplishments - He's known for writing some off-the-chain tunes, but who knew he had it in him to write a book? This fall, Prince's photographic essay titled "21 Nights" hits the shelves. The book is based on his 21 sold-out concerts at London's O2 Arena in 2007 and includes a series of never-before-published images. It will also include a CD of late-night jams which will only be available as part of the project.

Mildred Loving, who passed away at the age of 68 this week, was the Black woman who challenged the state of Virginia's ban on interracial marriage – a challenge that led to a landmark Supreme Court ruling that struck down such laws nationwide.
