A judge ordered Knight to sell off all assets belonging to Death Row Records. An auction is set for next month with a starting bid on the intellectual properties of $24 million.

Award Winner - Will Smith won the MTV Movie Award for best male performance. The award is for his work in "I Am Legend." Chris Brown was also on hand. He says he came to the awards show early to see the fire that broke out on the Universal Studios lot. He said he was hoping to see some of the smoke and flames, but ended up seeing only: "a whole lot of chaos."
