Lawsuit - Sean Levert's widow is suing officials who were holding him in jail when he died. The suit claims jailers showed disregard for his medical needs. The family claimed that the strange behavior that authorities noted after his death may have been symptoms of withdrawal from a medication Levert had been taking for an anxiety disorder.

Cancelled - The rest of Toni Braxton's Vegas shows at the Flamingo Las Vegas have been canceled. The 40-year-old entertainer was hospitalized April 7 with what hotel officials said at the time was a complaint of chest pain. Braxton has been treated in the past for pericarditis, a viral inflammation of the heart.

Award Winner - Will Smith won the MTV Movie Award for best male performance. The award is for his work in "I Am Legend." Chris Brown was also on hand. He says he came to the awards show early to see the fire that broke out on the Universal Studios lot. He said he was hoping to see some of the smoke and flames, but ended up seeing only: "a whole lot of chaos."

Much Beef - How much beef was there between 50 and his ex-girl over the house that burned down? A lot. Earlier, Shaniqua Tompkins filed a lawsuit against 50 claiming he promised her the house more than a decade ago. But she says since they split, he kicked her and their 10-year-old son from the home. Her lawyer told the AP that the dispute over the house right before the fire had become "extremely, extremely contentious."

Private eye Jack Palladino testified that he believes Lisa Van Allen and her fiancée Yul Brown were trying to get money from the singer.
