Track Jack? - Lil' Wayne could be in deep doo-doo for allegedly stealing a sample of a song by singer Karma-Ann Swanepoel. According to the suit filed against him in May, Weezy’s label, Cash Money Records, failed to properly negotiate a license to use Swanpoel’s song “Once” as a part of the hit track “I Feel Like Dying”, which has since been downloaded millions of times over. Lawyers for Lil Wayne and Cash Money are scrambling to to buy time to build their defense.

‘I’m Not Homeless’ - As for those who think T-Boz is homeless, she says you bedda think again. The former TLC member says the Atlanta crib she was leaving in wasn't hers. In an interview with “ESSENCE” magazine she said a lot of things were put in her name while she was married to rapper Mack 10. "If one of those properties is going into foreclosure then I don't know."

If You Owe, Pay! - Mos Def is reportedly being sued by his own divorce lawyers. They claim he owes them $60,000 in unpaid fees and retainers after they assisted him in his divorce from Maria Yepes in 2006.

‘Halfway’ Out - Michael Vick is close to being "halfway" out. A lawyer handling the ex-NFL star's bankruptcy says Vick could be moved from a federal prison in Kansas to a halfway house in Virginia by late January. He's been serving a 23-month sentence in Kansas for bankrolling a dog-fighting ring. Vick filed for bankruptcy protection back in July.

Killed Over a Gift? - Chicago Police now believe a birthday gift could have sparked the Hudson murders. They say Jennifer's sister, Julia, celebrated her 31st birthday on Oct. 23. The next day, William Balfour, the suspect, spotted what he believed to be a gift from another man and flew into a jealous rage and sought revenge.

Not Ready - J. Hud has decided that it's "too early" to go back to work and has cancelled plans to shoot a video for her single "If It Isn't Love." Her music label, J Records, says the 27-year-old singer/actress is still grieving over the murders of her mother, brother and nephew.

Blind Rage - New York Gov. David Paterson isn't p*ssed about a "Saturday Night Live" skit that poked fun at him being blind. While Paterson can take a joke, a spokeswoman for him said “SNL” went too far. The National Federation of the Blind called the portrayal "absolutely wrong."

A.I. Won’t Give Back? - American Idol giveth. American Idol taketh back? After two years of doing its "Idol Gives Back" charity show, there's word that the effort won't be returning in the show’s upcoming season. A spokeswoman for the network had no comment. The new season of Idol begins Jan. 20.

“Lady Love” - Letoya Luckett, one of the original members of Destiny's Child, is about to do her thang again. She's set to release a new album titled, Lady Love, on March 24th. The new CD features production from J.R. Rotem and Timbaland.
