He told reporters this week that he can do some of Bey's "Single Ladies" choreography, but you won't catch him sporting the black leotard that Bey wore in her video. Do What I Ask - Diary of a bunch of mad construction companies? A half-dozen firms are filing liens against Tyler Perry's home and movie studio. The companies say they are owed nearly $200,000 for work on Perry's 30,000 square-foot home and production studio in Atlanta. Perry says the companies didn't get their full pay because they hit him with undocumented charges or did sloppy work.

Suicide Pact - In a last desperate act following the termination of his employment, a father killed his five children and his wife before turning the gun on himself. In a letter faxed to a Los Angeles TV station, Ervin Antonio Lupoe said he and his wife, who also lost her job, planned the massacre together, as an escape for the whole family from serious debt.

'Nas Is Finished' - 50 Cent has taken a swipe at Nas, claiming his career is now over. “Nas is cold as ice,” said Fiddy, responding to Nas' song, "Queens Get The Money." “Nas is the block of ice that sunk the Titanic.” He went on to say that Nas "had some great moments and made good music in the past, but he no longer has the interest of the general public or myself."

Picking Up the Pieces - "Making the Band" returns to TV on Feb. 12, 2009, but don't expect to see the group "Danity Kane." That's because group member Dawn Richard says the group no longer exists. She adds that she and Aundrea Fimbres are "devastated" by the break up, and are left to "try and pick up the pieces" and launch their own act.

The T.I. Collabos - T.I. and Justin Timberlake will be performing a song together at next month's Grammy Awards. The rapper, who will being double duty at the ceremonies, will also hook up with Jay-Z, Lil' Wayne and Kanye West to perform their hit "Swagga Like Us." In addition to the performances, all four MCs have a bunch of nods: Wayne has eight, Jay and Kanye each grabbed six, and T.I. is up for four awards, including Best Rap Album.

Facebook Release - Lil' Wayne is planning to drop his new album on Facebook. He is teaming up with AT&T to release a new song through the social networking site. AT&T reports Weezy is the most popular musical artist on Facebook, and that last year AT&T customers downloaded his ringtones more than any other artist.

Vick Is Suing - Michael Vick may be in jail, but he's still trying to look out for his stuff. The imprisoned NFL star is suing former financial adviser Mary Wong for at least $2 million. In the suit, Vick claims she used his money for her personal and business expenses. Vick is currently serving 23 months in the federal penitentiary in Leavensworth, Kansas, for his role in a dog-fighting ring.

T.O. TV - As if Terrell Owens isn't enough of a media circus, VH1 is adding him to their celeb-reality TV show roster. The goal of "The Terrell Owens Project" is to give fans an inside look at who he really is, as opposed to how the media portray him.

Headed To Court? - It may be headed for Broadway, but before it does, Michael Jackson's "Thriller" may end up taking a detour - through court. The reason: the man who co-wrote and directed the music video is suing Jackson. John Landis claims the singer has shorted him on his fair share of royalties from the project. The lawsuit claims Jackson hasn't cut him a royalty check for the past four years.

Straight To Da 'Hood - Director Antoine Fuqua is going straight to the 'hood to find the next moviemaker. Fuqua, who set up the "Fuqua Film Foundation," challenges inner-city teens to write essays detailing why they want to make movies. Fuqua says he's confident he will discover the next great moviemaker in the inner city.

Wax Treatment - Michelle Obama is getting the wax treatment. Madame Tussauds wax museum is adding the first lady to its collection of famous figures in its Washington branch. Museum officials released pictures of the design process on Wednesday, and announced that the depiction will be unveiled in March.

Getting His Quarter On - Jazz legend Duke Ellington is being featured on a new coin honoring the nation's capital. The U.S. Mint developed the District of Columbia quarter, which features Ellington, a DC native, at his piano, along with the city's motto, "Justice for All." Collectors can go online or to banks to buy two-roll sets and bags of up to 1,000 quarters.
