On all of the shows, he defended his plan and said that the nation could suffer in the long-term if reform is not implemented. He also acknowledged the difficulties communicating about the reform to the American people. “…That’s been a case where I have been humbled and I just keep on trying harder, because I really think it’s the right thing to do for the country.”

In First Lady News... - First Lady Michelle Obama is joining in on the health care reform push as well. Late last week, Mrs. Obama gave a speech to women’s groups advocating for the reform and highlighting its importance to women. “Women aren’t just disproportionately affected by this issue because of the roles that we play in families,” she said, reports The New York Times. “Women are affected because of the jobs that we do in this economy.”
