Snowmageddon - Massive snowfall struck the D.C. region this past weekend in what President Obama jokingly labeled “Snowmageddon.” The snowfall didn’t stop the president, a Chicago native, and others from attending the Democratic National Committee’s winter meeting on Saturday. The streets around the hotel where the meeting was held were blocked by snow before Obama’s arrival, and the president thanked those who were able to attend despite the blizzard, the Associated Press.
