Remarks on Health Care - On Monday, the president traveled to Arcadia University in Glenside, Pa., to talk about health care reform. Accompanying him on the trip were Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, Senator Arlen Specter, Senator Bob Casey, Rep. Chaka Fattah and Rep. Rob Andrews.

Meeting the Crimson Tide - After returning from Pennsylvania on Monday, the president greeted the college football National Champion Alabama Crimson Tide at the White House. The team won the school’s 13th football championship and had an undefeated season.

El Salvador's President - The president also met with El Salvadoran President Mauricio Funes on Monday in the Oval Office.

International Women’s Day - President Obama and First Lady Michelle honored women around the world at a White House reception Monday. The event celebrated International Women’s Day, and the program was emceed by actress Kerry Washington and featured guests such as former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and singer Katharine McPhee.

Greece Prime Minister - Obama will meet with Greek Prime Minister George Papandreou Tuesday. Later, in the evening, he and the First Lady will host a reception to honor Greek Independence Day at the White House.

Haitian President - On Wednesday, the president will meet with Haitian President René Préval to talk about relief and reconstruction efforts in the nation following a devastating quake in January. The leaders will also discuss ways the United States can help support Haitians as they try to recover.

St. Louis Trip - After meeting with Préval, the president will head out to St. Louis to talk about health care reform. While there, he’ll also speak at a fundraiser for Senator Claire McCaskill (D-MO).

Conference - On Friday, the president will speak at the Export-Import Bank’s Annual Conference in D.C. In his address, Obama will express his desire to double the country’s exports in five years.

Science and Tech Meeting - Obama will meet with the President’s Council of Advisors on Science and Technology Friday at the White House.

In First Lady News... - On Tuesday, First Lady Michelle Obama will present her 2009 inaugural gown to the Smithsonian’s National Museum of American History. With her donation, she follows in the footsteps of the first ladies before her. Officials from the Smithsonian, as well as the dress designer, Jason Wu, will also attend the ceremony.
