Meeting the Crimson Tide - After returning from Pennsylvania on Monday, the president greeted the college football National Champion Alabama Crimson Tide at the White House. The team won the school’s 13th football championship and had an undefeated season.

With her donation, she follows in the footsteps of the first ladies before her. Officials from the Smithsonian, as well as the dress designer, Jason Wu, will also attend the ceremony.

Childhood Obesity - Later that day the First Lady, along with administration officials and Childhood Obesity Task Force members, will meet to discuss ways to fight the growing epidemic of childhood obesity.  After launching Mrs. Obama’s Let’s Move campaign, the president created the Task Force to help put together an interagency coordinated plan to fight childhood obesity.

Addressing the PTA - Mrs. Obama will address the National Legislative Conference of the Parent Teacher Association (PTA) to promote her Let’s Move initiative on Wednesday. The event will take place at the Doubletree Hotel in Arlington, Va.

Department Visit - Friday afternoon, the First Lady will visit the Department of Labor to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Women’s Bureau. She will deliver remarks during the ceremony, praising the achievements of the bureau.
