LLWS Underway - The 2010 Little League World Series kicked off over the weekend and heads to its first full week of games. Eight teams from the United States are competing in the double elimination tournament along with eight international teams. A champion will be crowned on Sunday in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

"I guess to make themselves look good, make me look bad for not going to their offseason conditioning program," Haynesworth said. "But, I mean, next year I'm not coming either. I'm going to be with my trainer again and I'll get back in the same shape I am and feel good about myself."

Piniella planned to retire at the end of the season, but his ailing mother needs him more. "My mom needs me home," Piniella said. "She hasn't gotten any better since I've been here. She's had a couple other complications, and rather than continue to go home, come back, it's not fair to the team, it's not fair to the players. So the best thing is just to step down and go home and take care of my mother.”
