The two-time AL MVP is just the ninth player in White Sox history to have his number retired. Thomas was a career .301 hitter with 521 home runs and 1,704 RBIs.

Crawford Wants New Deal Or Trade - According to Chris Broussard of ESPN, Atlanta Hawks guard Jamal Crawford will ask for a trade if the team doesn’t offer him a contract extension. The NBA’s reigning Sixth Man of the Year is reportedly looking for a three or four-year extension and is making $10 million in the final year of his deal.

Randy Couture dominated Toney before slapping on a arm-triangle choke, forcing the 42-year-old to tap 3 minutes, 19 seconds into Round 1. In the main event, Frankie Edgar defeated B.J. Strasburg Out For 12-18 Months - Prized pitching prospect Stephen Strasburg has a torn ligament in his right elbow and will likely need Tommy John surgery. The ligament replacement operation would sideline Strasburg for the entire 2011 season. Strasburg went 5-3 with a 2.91 ERA, striking out 92 batters in 68 innings.

Carmelo's Kat Stacks? - Carmelo Anthony’s Twitter account was reportedly hacked on Saturday evening, resulting in a threatening tweet intended for Internet groupie Kat Stacks. The tweet offered $5,000 for anyone who would “slap the s***”out of Stacks. This came after Anthony’s wife, LaLa, sent Stacks a threatening tweet earlier in the evening. The NBA will likely look into the incident.

Jackson Prepared To Sit Out All Year - San Diego Chargers wide receiver Vincent Jackson is prepared to sit out the entire 2010 season if he doesn’t receive a new long-term contract. "We're prepared for that," Jackson said in the interview. "The union comes and talks to us about the lockout possibly next year and I've been financially smart."
