Presidential Tag Teaming - On Friday, while answering questions from reporters in the White House Briefing Room, President Obama abruptly handed the podium over to former President Bill Clinton, who was visiting the White House to endorse his tax cut deal with Republicans. “First of all, I feel awkward being here, and now you're going to leave me all by myself?” Clinton said in jest. After Obama left (to attend a holiday party), Clinton answered questions for about 30 minutes.

Christmas in Washington - The First Family attended a taped television special, “Christmas in Washington,” on Sunday, which is set to air Dec. 17 on TNT. Ellen DeGeneres served as the event’s host and singers such as Mariah Carey performed and President Obama delivered a short Christmas speech. The event helps to raise money for the Children’s National Medical Center.
