David Wolper, Producer 1/11/28-8/10/10

Television and film producer, David Wolper, died of congestive heart disease and complications from Parkinson’s disease in his Beverly Hills home. With the production of films that include “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory” and “Roots,” Wolper earned a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The famed producer died peacefully, at age 82, while watching television with his wife Gloria.
