Obama Strikes Back and Trump Is Less-Than-Thrilled

After weeks of challenging President Obama on his birth certificate and almost hurting himself patting himself on the back once Obama released the document, he was a bit displeased at how he was treated at Saturday’s White House Correspondents' Association annual dinner.

It seems that Donald Trump really can’t take the heat. After weeks of challenging President Obama on his birth certificate and almost hurting himself patting himself on the back once Obama released the document, he was a bit displeased at how he was treated at Saturday’s White House Correspondents' Association annual dinner.

At the dinner, he of the dashing comb-over, was the butt of many jokes from Obama and host Seth Meyers that had the most of the audience laughing . (You can guess who didn’t crack a smile.)

Among the zingers:

The president said Trump could now focus on the serious issues, from whether the moon landing actually happened to where are Biggie and Tupac?

Regarding Trump’s decision to fire actor Gary Busey instead of rock singer Meat Loaf from his "Celebrity Apprentice" show, Obama said: "These are the types of decisions that would keep me up at night. Well handled, sir."

The president also showed a mock up of what the White House would look like if Trump were president. "Trump" was displayed in glittery letters and two women in bikinis were in a Jacuzzi on the redesigned White House front lawn.

"Donald Trump often talks about running as a Republican, which is surprising," said Meyers, the Saturday Night Live actor. "I just assumed he was running as a joke."

Trump sat mostly stone-faced throughout the jokes, but never one to squander an opportunity for free publicity, he called into “Fox & Friends”  on Sunday.

"Well, I really understood what I was getting into—I didn't know that I'd be virtually the sole focus," Trump said, writes Politico. "I guess when you're leading in the polls that sort of thing tends to happen. But I was certainly in a certain way having a good time listening. I don't think the American people are having a good time with $5 gas. ... I was thinking to myself as they were doing this, you know, the American people are really suffering and we're all" having fun at a gala.

My advice: People who live in glass houses, shouldn’t throw stones.
