Boo! Oklahoma Man Thinks Obama Halloween Tombstone Is Funny

The man's neighbor thinks the decoration sends the wrong message.

Dwayne Dockens is in the Halloween spirit, but at least one of his neighbors doesn't appreciate his ghoulish sense of humor, KOCO-TV reports.

That's because the holiday display of tombstones created by Dockens and his family features a blood-streaked one with President Obama's name and a question mark for the birth date, which is Dockens' idea of birther humor.

Jamilla Phillips, who recently moved across the street, is offended.

“He is the president of the United States and it actually is about respect," she said. "It’s a total respect thing because this person is still alive.”

Dockens said he's sorry if anyone is offended, but he and his family have used the decorations for the past few years and have no plan to remove the Obama marker.

“[My family and I] made them a few years ago back when it was a big deal, questions up about [Obama's] birth certificate," Dockens said. "And we made all these ourselves so just thought it was kind of humorous and, you know, went ahead and put him in there as well.”

Phillips isn't laughing. She told the television station that she's worried it sends the wrong message to children.
