Claim: "Three years ago, a newly elected President Obama told America that if Congress approved his plan to borrow nearly a trillion dollars, he would hold unemployment below 8 percent," Romney said in a Feb. 4 speech in Las Vegas.

Fact-check: According to the PolitiFact truth-o-meter, the claim is mostly false because Obama projected, but did not promise, that unemployment would drop below eight percent.
