Unemployment Benefits

Out-of-work Americans receiving emergency unemployment benefits could experience a 9.4 percent reduction in their compensation. Writes American Progress: "These cuts will have a greater impact on people of color, as 10.5 percent of Latinos and a staggering 13.8 percent of blacks are unemployed, compared to only 7 percent of whites."
