An amendment from Rep. Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) would eliminate funding for nutrition education funding, which teaches families how to create a healthy diet on a limited budget. Rep. G.K. Butterfield (D-North Carolina) also has proposed an amendment that would cut nutrition education.
