Congressional Black Caucus Chairwoman Marcia Fudge has asked CBC members to not speak publically about a potential military strike in Syria. In a email sent on Sept. 3, Fudge asked them "to limit public comment on the issue," until they have more information, The Hill reports. But the next day Missouri Rep. Emanual Cleaver said he was leaning toward a no vote and California Rep. Barbara Lee said she wasn't persuaded by Obama officials in a conference call that a military intervention is the only option.
