The House held another Saturday session during which members unanimously voted to pay federal employees retroactively for their furloughed time off. The White House also supports the bill. “It’s really cruel to tell workers they’ll receive back pay once the government opens and then refuse to open the government,” said Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.
