Here's Why Obama Thinks You Should Care About His New Budget
Earned Income Tax Credit for Childless Workers
Currently, childless workers and non-custodial parents receive a maximum Earned Income Tax Credit of $500 and is unavailable to workers under age 25. Obama's budget doubles the credit to $1,000 and lowers the age limit to 21. It also increases the upper age limit from 64 to 66. The administration estimates these changes will benefit two million African-American workers.
