BET Wire: Another Week, Another School Shooting / Congress Is All Shook Up
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton stirred a bit of controversy while promoting her new book, Hard Choices, after suggesting that she and President Clinton were "dead broke" after leaving the White House. "We came out of the White House not only dead broke, but in debt," Clinton told ABC's Diane Sawyer. "We had no money when we got there, and we struggled to, you know, piece together the resources for mortgages, for houses, for Chelsea's education. You know, it was not easy." Her tone-deaf remarks blew up on Twitter, triggering the hashtag Hillary is so poor [fill in the blank].
