Could We Possibly See LeBron James in a NFL Uniform During NBA Lockout?

The Miami Heat star hinted at the idea of giving the NFL a try on his Twitter page, but don’t count on it happening.

LeBron James taking his talents to the NFL sounds far-fetched and, for sure, it is.

But with no NBA season in sight and lots of time on his hands, the Miami Heat star likely had a good time Tuesday hinting at giving the NFL a shot on his Twitter page. James asked ESPN NFL insider John Clayton “When is the deadline for a team to sign a free agent?”

He was apparently having fun with Clayton’s earlier tweet that the NFL trading deadline is next Tuesday.

It’s really much ado about nothing, just a star athlete craving a little attention. Maybe we should have seen this coming last week when James was dressed in full pads at a high school football practice?

James, of course, was a star football player in high school up until his sophomore year in Akron, Ohio, but the NFL is a much different level. Not to mention it's a dangerous sport and one that would definitely put his NBA career in jeopardy when it resumes.
