Rob Parker's ESPN Contract Not Renewed

ESPN has decided not to renew Rob Parker's contract. Parker was dismissed for questioning Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III's "Blackness" on First Take and was suspended for 30 days.

"Rob Parker's contract expired at year's end. Evaluating our needs and his work, including his recent RG III comments, we decided not to renew his deal," an ESPN spokesperson said in a statement Tuesday.

Parker apologized for the offensive comments over Twitter a week after the episode aired in December and was placed on suspension on Dec. 20.
