Former NFL quarterback spends 24-hours behind bars for old arrest.
Donovan McNabb was released from a Arizona jail today after serving a one-day sentence for driving under the influence, ESPN reports.
The former Pro Bowl NFL quarterback was arrested in December 2013 for reportedly driving 81 mph in a 65 mph zone. McNabb pleaded guilty to a criminal traffic citation in March and was given a 10-day jail sentence, but nine of the days were suspended.
McNabb surrounded to police on Wednesday and was released early Thursday morning.
