Matt Barnes Pleads for Help Finding His Aunt's Alleged Killer

Clippers small forward and his family are seeking justice.

Matt Barnes turned to social media in the hunt to find an alleged murderer.

The Los Angeles Clippers small forward went on his Instagram account Tuesday, begging people in Sacramento to look out for the man who Barnes claimed stabbed his aunt to death last week.

"This dude stabbed my auntie in the neck last week & left her for dead on the sidewalk, she ended up dying on the way to the hospital in the ambulance," Barnes wrote in a caption accompanying a photo of his aunt's alleged killer. "If you hv any info on his where abouts contact the #SacPD # SacramentoWeNeedYourHelp #RIPTang."

TMZ Sports reports that the alleged killer, Michael Williams, was believed to be the victim's estranged husband and stands 5-foot-7, 220 pounds, and is very dangerous.

Sad news for Barnes, whose immediate family joyously attended the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards just last week.

The sad news also marks the second time that tragedy has hit the Clippers organization in less than a week. Just last Wednesday, Clippers guard Reggie Bullock mourned the loss of his transgender sibling, who was murdered and found in an alley in North Baltimore.
