Jets Fans Troll Tom Brady With Billboard Ads
You know the New York Jets are relishing in the NFL's four-game suspension of Tom Brady. Just basking in it.
A day after the league came down hard on the New England Patriots' star quarterback Monday, a group of anonymous Jets' fans pooled together to purchase space on 12 electronic billboards in northern New Jersey.
The message on the Gang Green billboards read, "#TomShady" with the team's chant of "J-E-T-S Jets! Jets! Jets!"
According to ESPN, the billboards are prominently placed along the path of the Jets' MetLife Stadium.
But Jets fans aren't the only ones to take shots at their rival Brady and his Patriots. Suzanne Johnson, the wife of Jets owner Woody Johnson, tweeted the news of Brady's suspension on Monday night accompanied by a smiley-face emoji, before deleting it, ESPN also reported.
The Patriots have long beat up on the Jets in the AFC East, so we guess this is payback. However, Gang Green better be ready to back up their digs because Brady's first home game back from suspension will be against the Jets on October 25.
