James Harden Breaks the Lil B Curse

James Harden Breaks the Lil B Curse

Superstar drops 45 points in Houston Rockets' Game 4 win over Warriors.

James Harden definitely picked the right time to break the curse Lil B put on him.

Seriously, Harden dropped 45 points, grabbed nine rebounds and dished five assists to lead the Houston Rockets to a 128-115 win over the Golden State Warriors on Monday night. With the victory, the Rockets avoided playoff elimination and now trail the Warriors, 3-1.

Simply put—Harden lit the Warriors on fire and didn't seem to care about Lil B's warning to explain his stirring-the-pot cooking celebration, because Harden had it on display often during Game 4.

Last week, Lil B went on Twitter and warned the NBA star that he would be cursed if he didn't give proper credit to him for the cooking celebration. In the ensuing game following the curse proclamation,  the Rockets' superstar committed a costly turnover, which secured the Warriors' Game 2 win. But Harden's Game 4 effort, which included this crazy alley-oop assist to Dwight Howard, might have just broken that curse.

Still, that's not going to stop Lil B from trying to put the hex back on Harden. According to the Oracle Arena official Twitter account, the rapper will be present for Game 5 of the Rockets-Warriors game Wednesday night. He can try to put the curse on Harden in person then.
