Speaking with Hot 97 on Thursday, Yeezy actually revealed that he'd like to work with NBA MVP Stephen Curry.
“I’m good friends with LeBron [James]. I would like to be really great friends with Steph [Curry]," Ye said on the air, as reported by Billboard. "I think he would be an awesome Yeezy athlete…the world would love to see Steph in some Yeezys.”
Everyone would, except for the folks over at Under Armour. Curry signed a shoe deal with the company back in October 2013. According to the Wall Street Journal, Curry's MVP season and first Finals berth have Under Armour on track for sales increases next quarter. The company's already made an estimated $161 million on its footwear, including Curry's signature sneakers, for the first quarter ending in March.
Ye can watch Curry and the Golden State Warriors host King James and the Cleveland Cavaliers in Game 5 of the Finals back in Oakland on Sunday night.
