Ex-Boxer Anthony Small Accused of Trying to Join ISIS

Former champ allegedly tried enter Syria to work with terrorist group.

Anthony Small, a former British boxing champion, is currently on trial for allegedly trying to join ISIS in Syria, the BBC is reporting.

Small, 33, was among three men arrested for trying to forge documents to illegally enter Syria and spread terrorist material online.

Small is also accused of publishing an online article entitled, "Attacks By Muslims In Perspective" and also posting a recording of a speech called, "Another James Foley beheading."

He and the two other men arrested deny the allegations.

Small participated in the The Contender Challenge: U.K. vs. USA reality show back in 2007.
