LeBron James: ‘I’m the Best Player in the World’

Cavs star remains confident after tough Game 5 loss.

His Cleveland Cavaliers are down 3-2 and on the brink of losing the NBA championship, but LeBron James remains ultra confident about the Cavs' chances Game 6 and his reasoning is simple.

"I feel confident because I'm the best player in the world," James told reporters after the Warriors defeated the Cavs, 104-91, in Game 5 on Sunday night. "It's that simple."

James notched 40 points, 14 rebounds and 11 assists on Sunday night for his second triple-double of this Finals and is averaging an absurd 36.6 points, 12.4 rebounds and 8.8 assists this series.

Maybe King James is confident because he is averaging 31.9 points in 14 career elimination games, the highest scoring average in NBA history, according to ESPN Stats & Info. However, he does have a 7-7 career record in elimination games, including being 5-1 over his last six such games.
