Die-hard Michael Jordan fans are going to love this.
A special Michael Jordan edition of NBA 2K16, which is slated for a September 25 release date, is currently available for pre-order. Although it costs $80, $20 more than the regular edition of the video game, the special edition will come equipped with several items that fans of arguably the greatest basketball player ever should love.
With iconic images of MJ plastering the cover, the special Jordan edition bundle will also include: a Jordan NBA 2K16 poster, Jordan Fathead wall cling and digital Jordan shoes, T-shirt and jersey for your MyPlayer feature in the video game, as well as $30,000 in virtual currency during game play as well.
NBA 2K16 was directed by Spike Lee, a die-hard New York Knicks fan who has worked with His Airness in the past. The two first collaborated on Nike Air Jordan ads back in the late 1980s.
The special edition of the video game will be available for PS4 and Xbox One versions. The special MJ edition announcement comes a day after the NBA named the Jordan-owned Charlotte Hornets as the hosts for the 2017 All-Star Game.
