Eric Berry Cleared to Practice After Lymphoma Battle
Eight months after being diagnosed with lymphoma, Kansas City Chiefs safety Eric Berry has been medically cleared to practice with the team, ESPN is reporting.
Berry will join rookies, quarterbacks and recently-injured teammates Wednesday for the start of the Chiefs' three-day minicamp at Missouri Western State University before beginning full-squad training camp Saturday.

A mass was found in Berry's chest following a late November loss to the Oakland Raiders, which led to a diagnosis of lymphoma. Berry's treatment included chemotherapy and radiation in Atlanta near his offseason home.
At the time of his initial diagnosis, Berry said, "I believe that I am in God's hands and I have great peace in that." And he promised, "I will be back!"
Well, welcome back, Eric!
