Nancy Lieberman is already a Hall of Famer and now she's adding yet another accomplishment to her long list of career feats.

One of the greatest women's basketball players of all time, Lieberman confirmed with ESPN on Thursday that she will accept an offer to join the Sacramento Kings as an assistant coach, making her the second female coach in NBA history to join a staff after Becky Hammon was hired by the San Antonio Spurs in April 2014.

"I am a King," Lieberman told ESPN.

After a legendary playing career and 1996 Hall of Fame induction, Lieberman played for the Phoenix Mercury at the age of 39 in the WNBA's inaugural season in 1997. Lieberman then became the general manager and coach of the Detroit Shock from 1998 to 2000. She even signed a seven-day contract with the Shock at the age of 50 in 2008.

Lieberman, now 57, coached the NBA Development League's Texas Legends from 2009-2011 before moving into the front office of the Dallas Mavericks affiliate for a year as an assistant general manager.

Her news comes on the heels of Jen Welter becoming an assistant coaching intern for the Arizona Cardinals earlier this week, becoming the first female coach of any kind in NFL history.
