Floyd Mayweather to Ronda Rousey: Call Me When You Make $300 Million+ in 36 Minutes

Undefeated boxing legend fires back at UFC women's bantamweight champ.

The war of words between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey continues. However, this time, it's the undefeated boxing champ that's peppering Rousey with some jabs.

While promoting his Sept. 12 fight against Andre Berto, ESPN asked Mayweather about Rousey and the champ basically told the UFC fighter to get her money up.

“I’ve yet to see any MMA fighter, or other boxer, make over $300 million in 36 minutes,” Mayweather said, referring to the reported total purse he took home after defeating Manny Pacquiao by unanimous decision on May 2. “When she can do that, then call me.”

This comes in response to Rousey blasting Mayweather last month, while accepting the ESPY award for Fighter of the Year, in anger that Money claimed to not know her in July 2014.

"I can't help but really say that I wonder how Floyd feels being beat by a woman for once," Rousey said, staring directly into the camera while holding her ESPY Award. "I'd like to see you pretend not to know who I am now."

To that, Mayweather maintains he genuinely didn't know who she was at the time in July 2014 before sarcastically digging at Rousey further.

“A while back, I didn’t know who Ronda Rousey was, so I’m pretty sure she got upset,” Mayweather said in the interview. “I want to say congratulations to Ronda Rousey and the UFC. You guys have done a tremendous job and I’ve won probably six or seven ESPYs for Fighter of the Year. And I truly believe she deserves it. Congratulations to Ronda Rousey.”
