Lil B Accepts Invitation to Try Out for 76ers' D-League Team

The Based God will get to show on September 19.

The Philadelphia 76ers clearly don't want to feel the wrath of Lil B's Based God curse.

That might explain why the NBA franchise's development team, the Delaware 87ers, extended an invite for the rapper to try out for their team on September 19.

The rapper and huge hoops fan happily accepted.

In the past, B has openly spoke about his lofty dreams to play in the NBA some day, even recording a track called "Gotta Make the NBA." Well, now's his chance.

If anything, the 76ers organization figures to avoid falling victim to the Based God's curse, which led to Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant suffering repeated foot injuries and only playing 27 games last season. James Harden also fell victim to the curse, with his Houston Rockets falling to the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference Finals.
