Defensive end also made gun remarks fresh off suspension.
Returning from a four-game suspension for domestic violence, one would think Greg Hardy would just try to blend into what the Dallas Cowboys are doing without making too much noise.
Wrong! The defensive end returned to the Cowboys with a whole lot to say about their Week 5 opponent, the defending Super Bowl champion New England Patriots, specifically Tom Brady and supermodel wife Gisele Bundchen.
Greg Hardy on how he views facing Tom Brady in his Cowboys debut: "The same way I did last time I saw him, hopefully on the ground."— Jon Machota (@jonmachota) October 6, 2015
Greg Hardy: "I love seeing Tom Brady. You seen his wife? I hope she comes to the game. I hope her sister comes to the game..."— Jon Machota (@jonmachota) October 6, 2015
If that's not bad enough, what Hardy said moments later, mentioning "guns" was even worse.
Greg Hardy: "I hope I come out guns blazing. I'm full of excitement and full of juice. I'm ready to go."— Jon Machota (@jonmachota) October 6, 2015
Really, Greg? Remember, Hardy's domestic-violence incident, included a report of him throwing his ex-girlfriend onto a pile of guns, so that definitely wasn't the best use of language there.
The Cowboys were forced to check the defensive end, before he said more.
Jason Garrett said he talked to Greg Hardy about his comments about Tom Brady's wife. Said he was receptive to his message to speak w/ play.— Brandon George (@DMN_George) October 8, 2015
