Heat's Gerald Green Hospitalized After Bizarre Behavior

The NBA guard was reportedly screaming in his condo before being restrained.

What's going on with Gerald Green?

After not playing against the Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday night, the Miami Heat's high-flying guard was admitted into a hospital for unknown reasons on Wednesday morning, TMZ is reporting.

And now there are some revealing details.

Multiple witnesses told TMZ that the 29-year-old Green was acting strange in the lobby of the condo he was staying at Wednesday morning, screaming. A teammate was allegedly trying to calm Green down, but the celebrity news site is reporting that it took several people — including EMT workers — to restrain Green on a stretcher and into an ambulance.

It's unknown what the commotion was about at this point.

This follows Green being fined $25,000 by the NBA last month for pointing his fingers as if they were guns during a Heat pre-season game.

This is Green's ninth season in the league.
