DeMarcus Cousins Reportedly Curses Out George Karl

Kings All-Star center and veteran coach just can't get on the same page.

DeMarcus Cousins still isn't seeing eye-to-eye with Sacramento Kings coach George Karl.

The Big Lead reported Wednesday that after losing to the San Antonio Spurs on Monday night, the Kings' All-Star center ripped into Karl in the locker room, cursing out the veteran coach.

Sources told the sports website that all Karl could do was walk away, while Cousins reportedly was told by teammates that "you can’t scream and curse like that at your coach in front of everyone.”

On Wednesday, Cousins issued an apology statement to Yahoo Sports and ESPN, attributing his frustration more to the team's 1-7 start and less with Karl.

"It is no secret that we are all frustrated with losing — me more than anyone," Boogie said. "I let my frustrations get the best of me in the locker room after the San Antonio loss — that is my bad. For the record, my frustration is not about any one person or player or coach. There is no one person to blame. All of us are accountable. My frustration is that we are 1-7, simple as that."

USA Today also reported Wednesday that Karl is in serious jeopardy of losing his job.

Kings general manager Vlade Divac refuted that and The Big Lead's report, which also claimed he asked players during a private meeting if they think Karl should be fired.

"There's a lot of B.S. out there," Divac told the Sacramento Bee in response Wednesday. "I'd just rather not comment."

Despite being one of the more successful NBA coaches in league history, Karl hasn't cut it in Sacramento, guiding the Kings to only a 13-26 record since taking over the team last season.

The ongoing rift with Cousins doesn't help, either.

Don't forget, Cousins responded to being the subject of trade rumors this past June by posting an emoji of a snake in the grass on his Twitter account. While many said he was referring to Karl, the two seemed to be in a better place in August, when Boogie posted an Instagram shot of he and the coach.

Well, it seems like they still have a long ways to go in their working relationship...that's if it continues.
