The Internet Has No Chill Over Ray Lewis's Song

Social media clowns retired NFL great's attempt at music.

Ray Lewis was easily one of the all-time great football players that the NFL has ever seen.

In addition to his on-field prowess, the former middle linebacker was also known for giving his Baltimore Ravens teammates motivational speeches over the course of his 17-year career. Well, something might have told Lewis to turn his ability to deliver the spoken word into music.

On Thursday, Lewis took to his Instagram account to release a preview of his new song, "Can You Stand the Rain," and social media proceeded to clown him without mercy.

Sheesh.

The snippet has Lewis yelling, "That's why men cry for women," among other lines.

Take a listen for yourself.
