UPDATE: 50 Cent is too gangster for Derek Jeter?

Well, it looks like Jeter's apparent discomfort with 'Fif's involvement in Frigo made it back to the MC, as he took to his Instagram account on Wednesday to air out the former New York Yankees captain.

Seems like 50 is riding with his hometown New York Mets from here on out.

PREVIOUSLY: Derek Jeter is acting real light skin, and we aren't here for any of it.

The retired Yankee shortstop initially inked a deal with Frigo, a Swedish underwear line, as a director for the brand agreeing to participate in some major publicity events.

However, in 2013, Jeter asked for his involvement with the brand to be kept private, for which the brand enlisted 50 Cent as a brand ambassador, causing Jeter to back out.

Why you ask? According to a lawsuit obtained by TMZ, Mathias Ingvarsson, majority owner of Frigo, claims Jeter believes 50 would make the brand too "urban."

The man who was shot nine times? Too urban? How Sway?

Regardless of his feelings, Derek's shady actions cost the company close to $30 million according to Ingvarsson, and he wants Jeter to deliver a cool $4.7 million for damages.

And to think, some of us still own Jeter baseball jerseys.

Next stop? The local Goodwill.
