Floyd Mayweather Jr. Pulls a Mike Tyson, Gets Tiger as Pet

Retired, undefeated champion gets early Christmas gift.

At the height of his heavyweight championship reign, Mike Tyson had it all...including a rare pet tiger.

Well over 20 years later, another boxing legend is following suit. Retired, undefeated champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. took to his Instagram account Thursday to reveal that he got a rare, two-month-old Bengal Tiger as an early Christmas gift from The Money Team in Russia. He even asked his followers to help him name his new pet.

Now, Floyd, we don't know what your plans for this tiger will be, but Iron Mike used to spar with his big cat.

Hey, if Mayweather chooses to do the same, at least he has the cat-like reflexes to defend himself.

The tiger should have a lavish life in Mayweather's Big Boy Mansion in Nevada.
