Gilbert Arenas has no chill.
As much as he has been dragged on social media this week for his comments about WNBA players Tuesday, the former NBA star doesn't seem to care.
When TMZ asked him Thursday if he'll be apologizing to any WNBA players that he offended, Arenas almost sounded defiant in responding, "Which ones did I offend? Did I name any of them?"
He added: "I'm trying to figure out what would I be sorry about."
When TMZ reminded Arenas of his comments Tuesday, referring to some WNBA players as "cutie pies," and other as "bean pies," Arenas responded with: "So basically all the ugly girls are mad. I don't know what the big deal is about."
On Tuesday, Arenas set the Internet ablaze, taking to his Instagram account and posting a photo of two bikini-clad women playing basketball, recommending that's how the WNBA should look.
"NOW this is what America was hoping for when they announced the #WNBA back in 1996...not a bunch of chicks running around looking like cast members from #orangeisthenewblack," Arenas wrote, referring to the television about women in prison.
He added to his IG post, writing: "Dont get me wrong, they have few #cutiepies but theres a whole alotta #beanpies running around. If Skylar Diggins came out like this, I dont care if she missed every layup... imma buy season tickets and I dont even know where the f**k #tulsa is."
When TMZ asked Arenas over the phone Thursday how he'd respond if his daughter came to him and said she doesn't want to dress in tight clothes, the former NBA guard had his answer ready.
"As a father, I'm going to let her dress the way she dresses," he said. "As a petty person, I'm going to laugh at the way she dresses. Period."
Arena's latest comments are only likely to have him dragged online a little bit more.
