[Watch] Steph Curry and the Warriors Just Jumped Over Jumpman

Their NBA-record 73 wins just pushed MJ's Bulls to second in the history books.

Forcing Michael Jordan to fall back is an accomplishment in itself.

But doing it in style takes the feat to another level.

Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors notched their 73rd victory Wednesday night via a 125-104 win over the Memphis Grizzlies. With the victory, the Warriors (73-9) set the NBA record for most wins in a regular season, pushing MJ and the 1995-96 Chicago Bulls (72-10) to second place in the history books.

But it was how Curry made sure Dub City notched the record Wednesday night that was especially riveting.

From the opening tipoff, Curry came out smoking, draining five three-pointers in the first quarter alone. By the final whistle, the reigning MVP, and frontrunner to win the award again this season, had 46 points.

His 10 treys Wednesday night gave him an NBA-record 402 three-pointers this season alone. Chef Curry with the pot, for real...sheesh!

History made x two.

"Who knows how far we can take this thing?" Curry told ESPN, referring to the distinct possibility of the Warriors pulling off a second straight championship.

Jordan's 1995-96 Bulls won the title after winning the then-record 72 games during the regular season. On Wednesday night, MJ simply gave the Warriors props.

"I want to congratulate the Warriors on their amazing season," Jordan said in a statement, as reported by ESPN. "The game of basketball is always evolving and records are made to be broken. The Warriors have been a lot of fun to watch and I look forward to seeing what they do in the playoffs."

Scottie Pippen, a key member of that Bulls' squad with MJ, had previously said that those Bulls would sweep these Warriors. But after Wednesday night, even Pip had to give it up to Golden State for breaking their record, too.

Now all that's left for the Warriors to punctuate their incredible season is to go back-to-back with another NBA title.
