Such was the case when Twitter got its hands on the Golden State Warriors' team fashion shoot Wednesday night with the jokes rolling in through the wee hours of Thursday morning.

Aw, man. And that was just the beginning of the roasting session, as the jokes kept coming with Twitter users comparing the defending champions to everything from the cast of the old Drake-starring TV series, Degrassi, to legendary R&B groups, popular video games and even one of the most iconic movies of all time.

Damn, did they really hit Stephen Curry with E.T. phone home?

The reigning MVP and defending champs are probably laughing this off.

They're coming off a history-making 73rd win and are up 2-0 on the Houston Rockets in first-round playoff action, in position to make it back-to-back NBA titles.
