[Watch] Richard Sherman Goes Undercover as Lyft Driver
Imagine requesting an Uber or Lyft ride only for a Super Bowl champion to be your driver.
That was certain customers' reality recently, as NFL star Richard Sherman whipped them around town in Seattle as their undercover Lyft driver.
With a hat and black shades somewhat concealing his identity, the Seattle Seahawks cornerback scooped up one passenger after another, with a majority not having a clue it was the three-time Pro Bowler and former Super Bowl champ.
Along the way, he drops hints about his true identity, saying to one customer that he'd like to think of himself as a "connoisseur of football" and telling another that he just came back from Hawaii with "50" of his friends in reference to the Pro Bowl's annual location.
"I try to make sure I go every year," Sherman says, alluding to remaining one of the best cornerbacks in the league to ensure his Pro Bowl vacation to Hawaii each year. "We even see some guys that we really don't like so much from work, but that's part of the job."
The best part of the prank of course is when Sherman reveals his true identity to the surprise of his customers, with one lady giving him a hug and another in total shock.
Funny stuff.
