[Look] Nike and Krispy Kreme Got Carried Away With This Kyrie Irving Shoe Collab
It isn't uncommon for Nike to collaborate on sneakers with different brands.
But the Swoosh might have gotten a little too carried away with its latest partnership.
That's because Nike has teamed up with Krispy Kreme donuts to deliver these Ky-Rispy Kreme Kyrie 2s for Cleveland Cavaliers' All-Star point guard Kyrie Irving.
According to Sneaker News, the Ky-rispy Kreme kicks will be directly sold from a Krispy Kreme truck in cities such as Cleveland, Brooklyn, Harlem and Baltimore on a limited-edition run.
Combining basketball with Krispy Kreme donuts? Yup, this is the collaboration of Charles Barkley's dreams. He's probably calling Nike up right now, wondering why they didn't pull off the collaboration for his signature shoes back in the day.
Take a look at the Ky-rispy Kreme Kyrie 2s and how they're being packaged in the truck. Pretty clean.
You copping these... or passing on the kicks and just getting the doughnuts when that truck pulls up to your hood?
Poor Charles.
