[Watch] From Homie to Attempted Homewrecker: Can D'Angelo Russell Win Back Nick Young's Trust?

Bros before Becky?

D'Angelo Russell flagrantly violated the bro code by taping his Los Angeles Lakers teammate Nick Young's cheating admission, which hit the internet in March, putting Swaggy P's engagement to Iggy Azalea in momentary doubt.

Since then, the Lakers closed out their dismal 2015-16 season by reportedly giving Russell the silent treatment with Young publicly denying that he accepted Russell's apology.

Although Nick and Iggy have seemingly patched up their relationship, the Russell-Young saga continues.

When TMZ Sports recently caught up with Russell and asked him straight up if he and Nick would ever be cool again, D'Angelo still looked distraught.

"I don't know," Russell said. "Only time will tell, right?"

Only time will tell what, D'Angelo? Swaggy P's cheating is inexcusable, but you violated the bro code in the worst way, bruh. Not only did that destroy your friendship with the man, but it could also jeopardize your career. Which teammate is going to trust you?

When TMZ kept pressing, Russell added, "I'm cool...I can't speak for him."
Check out the video here.

Just own the fact that you'll always be known as that guy who violated the bro code.

The only way we think D'Angelo could shed that image is to ball out of his mind next season to the point where fans and critics are talking about his on-court ability instead of his off-court indiscretions.
