After LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers stomped all over Toronto in the first two games of the Eastern Conference Finals, Game 3 was a must-win for the Raptors on Saturday.
And after the Raptors handed the Cavs their first loss of the post-season via a 99-84 defeat, the battle lines were drawn between friends, Drake and King James.
Following the big Raptors win, Drizzy took to his Instagram account and posted a shot of a salty LeBron with the caption, "Flying home for game 4," aimed at Steph Floss, the Cavs' official DJ.
Oh man, oh man. Drake was silent like a church mouse during Games 1 and 2, but the Raptors' Game 3 win seems to have given him confidence. Well... enough confidence to thrash talk a little bit.
Let's see if the MC and Raptors' ambassador keeps the slick talk going after Game 4 in Toronto on Monday night, when his squad hosts the Cavs up north.
Ask us and we think the Cavs will rebound and take the commanding 3-1 Eastern Conference Finals lead before closing out the series back at The Land in Game 5 on Wednesday night.
Sorry, Drizzy — we think you're going to have court-side seat Views to King James destroying your squad.
